Anonymous Game IDs
Randomly generated UUIDs for session correlation. No PII linkage. Essential for calculating retention cohorts without tracking individual players.
Event Payloads
Raw JSON from in-game events (e.g., `level_complete`, `purchase`). Stored in a temporary queue for real-time aggregation. Purged after 72 hours.
Technical Metadata
Device model, OS version, and app version for crash analytics and performance benchmarking. Aggregate analysis only.
IP Address
Anonymized to /24 subnet immediately upon ingestion for regional load balancing. Full IP never written to disk.

Downside: Cannot offer user-specific support or segment by demographic (age, gender). Mitigation: We provide developers with raw event logs for their own secure, identity-verified user support if they choose to implement it.

Downside: Metrics are available with a 15-minute latency. Mitigation: For live operations, we push critical alerts (e.g., crash spikes) via webhooks within 60 seconds.

Days Data Retention (Raw)
Raw event logs are a liability. We aggregate trends in real-time and discard the source. The only persistent data is the aggregated metrics you see in your dashboard.

Datavo Pro is fully GDPR compliant. Our architecture treats the regulation as a baseline for engineering excellence, not a constraint.
Data Portability
You can export your aggregated dashboards as CSV. For raw event data (if you host it), we provide the schema and a script to assist in formatting for export.
Right to Erasure
Upon request, we will purge all anonymous IDs and associated metadata within 30 days. This is irreversible and affects historical metrics.
